Thank you to those who arrived to play today in our Senior Men’s Team Open.

Unfortunately the heavy rain that started just after the competition got underway caused a number of the greens to become waterlogged and unplayable, so the decision was made to abandon the competition.

it will not be possible to reschedule this year, so we will reimburse entry fees back to the card of the player that entered your team. Please allow a couple of weeks to sort this. If you haven’t had your refund by Friday 19th September, please contact me via e-mail seniormen@shrewsburygolfclub.co.uk or text/WhatsApp on 077 200 71555.

We did collect a few pounds for Twos, and logistically it will be difficult to reimburse the £2 to each player, so with your good grace we will donate those proceeds to our Captains Charities.
